Our Solutions - Training - WHMIS

WHMIS
WHMIS training is intended to provide employees and employers with the information that they need to work safely with hazardous materials. The province of Manitoba has established training standards that will allow students to answer the following four questions:
    1. What are the hazards of the controlled product?
    2. How are you protected from those hazards?
    3. What do you do in case of an emergency?
    4. Where can you get additional hazard information?
It is recommended that WHMIS training be held at least once a year for existing employees and updates should be provided if working conditions change relative to controlled products or procedures. New employees should receive training before they start to work with any controlled products.

The Commissionaires will customize the training to make it customer specific ensuring students will understand how WHMIS applies to their workplace and to the specific controlled products they deal with.
The course is 4 hours in duration. Contact us to schedule a course.
