Traditionally, men and women employed by the Commissionaires have been members of the Canadian Forces
(Regular, Reserve, CIC), the Merchant Navy and the RCMP. These professionals come to the Commissionaires
with valuable experience and consistently deliver an unprecedented level of reliability and work ethic.
Recent hiring policies allow us to recruit those with a non-military or policing background and
our application process is intended to attract those individuals that would be worthy of wearing the Commissionaires uniform.
