Commissionaires Manitoba offers a comprehensive curriculum of security guard training, taught to Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) federal standards. This level of training exceeds the industry norm and even provincial standards. Our rigorous training standards ensure each participant is prepared, upon completion, to tackle real-life security guarding scenarios professionally. Courses are led by experienced teachers who are committed to the success of each individual. Training is available for individuals or groups at your workplace, or at Commissionaires Manitoba's training academy.

When we train students, including our own Commissionaires guards, we train to the exacting standards of the Canadian General Standards Board, at no additional cost. We are one of the few organizations who provide this added level of training. In order to become security licensed as a security worker in Manitoba you need to complete the 40 hour Manitoba Security Guard Training course, pass the exam, and have a clear criminal record and child abuse registry check. With the necessary paperwork in hand you must apply directly to Manitoba Justice.
