Established in 1938 and currently located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, our division provides trusted security services to Manitobans. It is our commitment to Canada to find and maintain suitable employment for military veterans and RCMP and to provide means to ensure the integrity and professionalism of our membership, including non-veterans, to assist us in the delivery of our promise.
Commissionaires Manitoba is a member division of Commissionaires, Canada's premier security services provider. We offer a range of security services to Winnipeg and Shilo, Manitoba, as well as to our Northern communities. Commissionaires Manitoba utilizes our deeply rooted knowledge of the communities we serve to provide each client with highly effective security solutions.
With a staff of over 1,200 well trained, dedicated employees, we provide a variety of security solutions, including security guarding services and enforcement to many high profile clients, such as the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health, 17 Wing and CFB Shilo. We are also long time supporters of the Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball team and are involved in many community events throughout the year. Drawing on more than 70 years experience protecting Canadians and their property, our unique combination of knowledge and integrity has made us the region's most trusted security provider.

Commissionaires’ identification services feature criminal record checks and digital fingerprinting for fast turnaround from Charlotte Town Police Services and the RCMP. Our Commissionaires' Client Services Team
Most of our Manitoba commissionaires are experienced military veterans and RCMP, augmented by non-veterans who possess a variety of qualifications needed to enhance our security services.
Our on-site, front line commissionaires are supported by a local area management and supervisory team composed of mostly former government, military, RCMP and commercial leaders. They in turn are supported and guided by a small head office management team and staff who reflect a broad and balanced mixture of experience and specialty skills. Our people possess post-graduate and university degrees, executive and senior leadership experience, security field skills, and human resource management expertise. These strengths provide sound planning, prudent decision-making, legal compliance, resource control, quality assurance and, most importantly, responsive field performance and support to our clients.
We maintain close business relations with all Commissionaires’ divisions across Canada, drawing on collective best practices in the delivery of our security services. We have decentralized authorities to respond swiftly and completely to the local requirements of our clients. Most importantly, our commissionaires are trained to federal security officer standards.
